An abstract study of the Moon cycle in eight phases. This project stemmed from my Cox Bay Beach Study, an abstract study of a Pacific ocean beach in Tofino, Canada, as it changes with seasons, weather systems, tides and the moon. Living in this remote west coast rainforest town, the changes in the moon light are prominent. From the brightness of the full moon through giant old growth trees to the encompassing blackness of the new moon.
